Daily Football Tid-bits: Niklas Süle Has Tested Positive For Covid-19.

The Bayern Munich defender has tested positive for Covid-19. The 25 year-old tested positive during the last checks and will now be required to quarantine. Bayern’s official statement said Süle “ is in quarantine at home and is fine.” Süle will miss Bayern’s Champions League tie against RB Salzburg on Tuesday and it is highly unlikely that he will be available for his side’s class with Borussia Dortmund. Niklas Süle is one of Bayern’s key players, he has featured in 4 of his side’s 6 matchdays. He has done really well at maintaining a 93% pass accuracy and also won all of his 4 tackles in the Bundesliga. Süle’s 195 centimeter height allows him to win 80% of his aerial duels. He will definitely be sorely missed. A number of Bayern players have already tested positive for the Covid-19, including winger, Serge Gnabry. Will this pandemic be the force that will knock Bayern of their thrones?
