Daily Football Tid-bits: Chelsea Make Offer for Malmö FF, 21 Year-old, Defender.

Chelsea have made a preliminary offer for Malmö FF central-defender, Anel Ahmedhodžić. The offer is reportedly worth 8 Million Euros. The 21 year-old has a contract with Malmö FF until 2023, but could be in search of a January move to Stamford Bridge. The South-West Londeners have now entered talks with Admedhodžić’s representatives surrounding a deal that could last 5 years. The Bosnian youngster has played 24 of his side’s 25 league games, won 70% of his duels, 62% of his tackles and completed 86% of his passes. For comparison, Chelsea’s Thiago Silva has won 59% of all his duels and Kurt Zouma has won a third of all his tackles. Even though he is a bit rough around the edges, he is 21 and can only improve with time. If the blues can tie him down to a deal, the guidance of Frank Lampard and Thiago Silva he will only accelerate his development.
